Meeting point
The meeting will take place at Los Abrigos Dive Center at 9 am. The course begins with a detailed theoretical training. It is important to learn the concepts and a number of skills that are necessary for a fun, safe and secure scuba diving experience. An experienced instructor will share extremely useful and knowledgeable information, you will not be bored. And most importantly you will acquire the necessary theoretical skills and your diving will be easy and brave.

After learning the theory, we’ll move on to practice! Wearing professional diving gear we’ll set off to a secluded, safe and lesson only location. With the instructor you will perform a series of basic underwater exercises in a relaxed atmosphere for as long as you personally need to feel safe. During this time, the instructor will make sure that you learn stability, buoyancy, and balance skills.

When you feel ready, you can go to another open water area for two dives. This will be the highlight of the day, as you will dive into the water accompanied by your instructor and begin diving to a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 meters). During the 40 minutes of each dive you will enjoy the unique sensation of breathing underwater while admiring the marine life of Tenerife.

Disembarkation site
After our last dive we will return to the dive center in Los Abrigos at 17:00.

Information about the eight-hour diving course
After the diving course we must wait at least 24 hours before boarding a plane or traveling to high mountain areas such as Teide National Park.
The course is not accessible to wheelchairs.
Total course time: 8 hours.
